I ride transit trains to my job in downtown Los Angeles and I see people totally absorbed in their electronic devices either in the parking areas, on the trains or while walking in the stations or walking the streets to their jobs. I always think to myself that one day they may pay a heavy price for not paying attention to what is going on around them.

Who buys a $200 cell phone and pays the monthly fees for a 7 year old??? We have told them that if they get good grades we will buy them a phone when they are 16.
