I'll second that one... narcissism as a rider? Like, "I don't have to think or care about any one or anything else... because it is all-about-me"?
    Can't you see I'm texting?
    get otta my way

Funny, it seems one of the things that has gone by the board is problem solving. Too many are not responsible, for their behavior or any one under their supervision (kids or employees) and the problem is the person complaining, for complaining about it. Like, it would not be a problem if you did not point it out.
I'm taking a more Darwinian approach, I used to tell management if it was an issue I would want to know about, now I usually don't come back to a place that does not bother with polite efficient service, when they close perhaps another will open and do better.
The old, "we are sorry you feel we did not measure up to our usually perfection" is worn out.

    Socrates
"The unexamined life is not worth living."

Problem is, to the degree they examine their life, everything is perfect.

Gestalt experience, jury duty, waiting in the lobby (the loud tv and lonely men in the waiting area was just overwhelming) listening to defenders consult with accused... the level of stupidity was appalling... listening to them twist on the hook trying to fabricate an explanation for insane and criminal behavior...
driving drunk with a suspended license, for the third time, assaulting a police officer on a complaint of kids pushing old people and throwing fireworks at them, "if they didn't want me to take (theft) that stuff it shouldn't have been out where I could see it, don't theeeeey have some responsibility here?" (with the head shake, like, you idiot lawyer)
    Six hours of it.
    Ever seen "Idiocracy" ?
    I left horrified...

could be a new peeve, need a rule that not more than two can join the rest of the family further up in line, and one of them needs to be under 5.
We were in line for Astroblasters, so many people pushed past us the we had to move backwards.
    Enough already

So I should let my 8 year old go to the bathroom by herself? Or wait at the exit for me by herself and miss the ride?

If I was trying to "catch up" to my party, I would tell them to just stay where they were, and let everyone pass them until I caught up. Or, we all enter the ride at the same time. Before I get in a particularly long line, I make my kids use the bathroom so we won't have to exit the ride. If everyone had that courtesy, life would be great.

I think, as AP holders, most of us know how to tour the park so as NOT to be a nuisance the the rest of the populous.

watched a family ahead of us, a group of several adults, lots of kids, "mama, I need to go to the bathroom..." "any one else need to go?" all no's. She isn't back five minutes when the next asked to go...

They were very polite working their way in and out of line I've "held" place for mom with child more than a few times, pretend they are with us so they don't have to start over.

But we make sure that we walk over to the side and/or sit down to update anything or to just respond to a text. I'm notorious for not watching where I'm going anyways, so texting and walking would just make it worse.
