Hell I was there last time and didn't want to gouge my eyes out once or punch a CM in the throat just to relieve my frustration....things are looking up over there. And oh yeah last time I was there with Super Dry, Poohbear and Love-DCA and with the exception of Poohbear, we got suuuuuper tanked there at the Wine and more wine festival. Its amazing how much excess drinking makes a park look and feel so much nicer. Now I finally realized the secret! Shouldve known DarkBeer was on to something. ;D

It's as bad and as awkward as when Ed Grier would call it "the Disneyland park" in speeches instead of just saying "Disneyland" like the 300 Million other normal Americans who don't read their words off of TDA prepeared documents. I like the new logo. It's definitely not 2001 hip n' edgy, it's reminiscent of Toontown and classic Disney cartoons. It also plays nicely with the World of Color hype going on. It works, and it's certainly more playful looking than the basic font they've been using for the past five years ever since they ditched the original Cynthia Harriss era logo. But still, what an odd and pointless thing to do to drop the apostrophe s off of the word. I can only imagine how many meetings and catered lunches it took TDA to make this decision! Gag.

And the name's not going anywhere (other than the dropped 's'). All the stuff that's coming other than LM underline the California theme (Buena Vista street, the redcars, the Cathay Circle replica, and the huge CarsLand).
Originally Posted By xrayvision I really liked the commercial. While I don't like the modified park name, the absence of the 's does follow in same vein as "Disneyland" and "DisneySea." Both park names could have included a possessive 's at end of the word "Disney." But, dropping the 's in these two cases was a good idea because "Disney's Land" and "Disney's Sea" could have been a challenge for some tongues to pronounce. Dropping 's from "Disney's California Adventure" doesn't seem to make the name easier nor quicker to pronounce. So, I don't get this branding adjustment. They should change DCA's park name to "DisneyAdventures featuring Walt, Michael and John".
