    Here's hoping that the Wings didn't use up all their great playing in the game the other night. Hoping we manage to take the game in San Jose tonight. If so, we're pretty much guaranteed to take this series to 7 games, I think. It's just a matter of making it through tonight's game in good shape.

    Oh, and Franzen was ON FIRE Thursday night. WOW! What an amazing game he had!

    Sharks are a very good team..they had yo be to beat the wings,, .they have had some tough times in the play offs in recent years , this maybe their time to go all the way...the hawks are a fit well balanced team ,they will be as tough as nails, goal keeping may be the difference , just have to wait and see..

Ironically, the very first game played at the Civic Arena (now Mellon Arena, soon to be parking lot) was against the Montreal Canadiens. They lost that game to the Habs. It's looking quite possible that the Habs may be the LAST team to play the Penguins at the Igloo, too.

    LET'S GO PENS!!!! Keep the Igloo alive for another series!!!!

    Thanks Pens for a great season and and exciting series.

    The last one to leave the Igloo, turn out the lights for the last time... Many, MANY great memories within the silver dome. It's sad to see it end...
    Goodbye Civic Arena, we'll miss you...:(
