Really think that they play too many seasonal games, we don;t need exhibition games and I think the first place teams
should get a bye into the second round.

With the Ist round a best of five so the wait is not so long...

It should be 3 points for a win and one for a tie during the season.

Would be nice to have the Canadiens
make it , would be a shame if they didn't
after finding a way to win against the two best teams in Hockey to-day...

They had rioting and looting in Montreal last night after they beat the Pens, just for ROUND TWO! Can you imagine if they were to win the Cup??? I can see the whole city burning down if they do!!! Now THAT'S being Hockey crazed!

Pittsburgh had very little trouble when the Pens won AND the Steelers won all within a few months of each other last year. (Well, except for an occasional burning sofa near the University of Pittsburgh!)

And, Chicago steals a road game against San Jose last night. I likes their chances.

Vancouver was much the better team against
Chicago, how ever Chicago won the series
by been opportunistic thru out. Their talented blue line and individual skill prevailed...Vancouver won game one , should have won game two,
poor officiating in game three , lost game four , and so on....they just could not sustain the hawks any longer with the injuries they had accumalated..in all
I like the Canucks , but in my mind you want to see the team with the best chance to win the Stanley cup go thru and that was Chicago....They play poor at home , if that continues could be a long series, if it doesn;t , hawks in 6, "pardon spelling.."

Officiating cost the Canucks game three, they more or less controlled the first two games , a rookie mistake to a very opportunistic team lead to the game two loss, they were out coached in the remaining losses not out played, they also took a number of cheap shots which resulted in two players being forced out of action for the remainder of the series, these cheap shots should have resulted in game suspensions, but one must remember not everything that goes around in hockey is done on a consistent basis...The Sedin Brothers had enough chances to win the games needed to win, they just didn;t finish, it happens and it has happened to many other teams in the hunt..Chicago is not such a good team as they are a team with good players, who so far have not been saddled with any injuries from cheap shots or other wise...take away, Keith, Toews, the hawks are done...

Such is the talk of two-time losers.
