still left a 7th game final could be just what hockey needs....you know the flyers after been down three -0 came back...if it was 2=1 , then 3-1 , that is a much different mountain for them....

Hard to believe, the Flyers haven't won a Stanley Cup game since Game 6 of the 87 Finals. Mike Keenan looked so young.

as it is the Flyers have to win 4/5 from the Hawks -- good luck-- as I heard Roenick say on TV yesterday - who's gonna do that - maybe an All Star team

Another really stupid hockey rule came into play tonight. When the horn sounded and the goal light went off but the refs didn't signal a goal, play went on for another 90 seconds. They don't review until play stops. Had the Hawks scored, their goal would have been disallowed because the Flyers did get a goal onreview. When the light goes off and the horn sounds, even if the refs didn't signal a goal they should stop the play themselves and review, rather than let play go until it stops on its own. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

For Philly in overtime a quick whistle cost them a goal...when the ref blew too early..I would rather they blow it down
especially when the red light comes on, teams stop skating and an unfair advantage is given if the play does continue, I concur Dumb, dumb, dumb, rule

This series has had its share of unfortunate decisions , good the refs are letting them play more.

Not just what if the Hawks had scored and it been disallowed, but if a player on either team was injured and then the clock resets, then the player is hurt during time that didn't really count? Besides baseball rain delays, what other sport has playing time that can get erased due to an idiotic rule like this? Like their TV decisions, it's why hockey runs a poor fourth and sometimes worse as one of the "major" sports.

Unless clearly the official waves it off,
if the official does wave it off , the play is still reviewable , there fore the goal may still be given . I have seen teams score off that kind of situation and they have had that goal taken away.

Chicago scored the winning goal in the first game off a play where the game should have been stopped, there was no review there, so the goal stood .

Philly is doing a good job in shutting down the hawks, they are not being statues as other teams were against them.

They should be leading the series not trailing, can they keep it up , who knows
what energy is still in the tank. The hawks have played poorly as a team thru out the play offs , Niemi and the poor markmanship of the other teams is one of the main reasons they are still in it.

Philly is only there because of the gutsy effort of the Montreal Canadiens
in the disposing of the Capitals , Penquins , other wise Philly would be home with the rest...

Wish the season was shorter , hockey just doesn't go with the month of June at all..

You're watching a different team and series if you really think this.

Niemi is Dynamite on low shots, much like Halak , he gives a lot of rebounds if you shoot high they are in...poor shooting by Nashville cost them , Atrocious shooting by the Canucks cost them, The sharks should have won two games, but could not get the puck up,
Philly could very well be up 3-0 had they got the puck up, no pass holder I am watching the same series as you are, I just see the game for what it is, not for how I want the game to be seen...

Hey, your a Chicago fan, I expect you to challenge some of the things I say, that is o'kay, you make very good points some times. I like Chicago too, I also know the game inside and out....

Every game that Chicago has played the announcer has said, if they would only have shot the puck higher , it was a goal...time and time again, Niemi has made a lot of great low saves, but has had way more pucks just hit him, because they were low not high . Philly just seem to be drawn into beating him low, not going to happen at least not often enough to win the series....
