Chinese food is meant to be eaten family style. If you have four people, by all means order four dishes. Preferrably one of each beef, pork, chicken, duck, fish, or whatever. I have seen some people (not you Dave... sounds like you guys did it right) order multiples of the same dish. No, no, NO! Everything should be in the middle of the table, with everyone getting a little of each flavor! So, in review, if you have say, three in your party, do not get three General Tso's Chicken, or even three different chicken dishes! Order a variety! End of Rant! :ant, pant::

This is a tough one because it is an unusual cuisine that some don't care for. My brother refers to the food there (very unfairly) as camel dung. If you are up for something a little different, the food at Marrakesh is some of the best prepared and most authentic food served at Epcot. The flavors are not all that "out there", but many Americans would have little experience with it. It's not like Asian food where most Americans have experienced Chinese and the flavors of Japanese or Vietnamese food are not radically different. Moroccan food would be similar to Afghan or Lebanese food, and somewhat like Greek food. If you feel adventurous, give it a try. I would certainly trade my Kona reservations for the Marrakesh. I can't really say if it would be a good idea for you unless I knew a little more about your taste in cuisine.

Exactly what Sarah, the kids and I did - but my MIL gave us dirty looks when we asked for some of her's. She is so like the people you refer to (another thing that really gets onmy nerves about her!!!)

We had: Starter - beef bawat rolls (awesome - think a spring roll type pastry with mince beef and cinnamon) with a chick pea soup (normally not a fan of chick peas, but this was delicious). Entree - really mixed - lamb shank (not really a big lamb fan personally, but Sarah who is was disappointed - very fatty), a fantastic lemon and olive chicken, and vegetable cous cous (again, not a big fan). Dessert - a variety of pasties made with pistachios and walnuts with honey. Not bad, but largely forgettable. I was really looking forward to this one, but walked away content but not extatic. Bear in mind we have been to North Africa and the Middle East - it was relatively authentic, but for some reason I can only say it was ok. Knowing you've been to the Kona Cafe before though, unless it's an absolute must do for you, I would cancel my reservations there and try Marrakech.

I'll *probably* have the chicken bastilla appetizer or Jasmina salad, then a chicken kebab for my main course, and mayhaps the crepes for dessert. Going into new territory I ALWAYS look at Deb's site first nad make sure I can find stuff on the menu that appeals to me - which I've been unable to do with the UK, NOrway, and Germany. lol
