At the museum where I spend my Saturdays docenting, things change far more frequently than they do in DL. On any given weekend, I can expect to see things like (1) several tons of equipment, requiring hours to jockey into position, missing, because some film production rented it, or (2) some cabinet that had set for months in the worst possible position, before I laboriously moved it someplace with far better access, and where it was far less of a nuisance, suddenly moved someplace else. Or at the Chicago MSI, the old model railroad layout, that had stood for decades in the center of the transportation wing, disappearing completely over the course of a few months, and replaced with another layout, with just as big a footprint, but in a smaller scale (and, quite frankly, I think it's a nicer one). Bottom line, museums change all the time.

My point was that I understand that nothing is permanent (esp when it comes to the performers at the park) - but I also want to make sure that they are not closing the BHatHB's simply as a cost saving measure, with NO plan to replace them with something comparable, or perhaps even better. That's all.

He's got music, he's got new-fangled technology, he's got some really unfunny jokes! What's not to love?
