It's a nice thought ... that a picture of yourself could end up in a "Disneyland show" of sorts. But try - trying to find your photo, IF it made it in. And even if you do catch it .. in tiny form (mixed in with dozens surrounding it) ... it's gone within a few seconds. Really .. nice idea in concept .. when you think about it. But it reminds me of these picture boxes used in that night time show done in DCA that lasted one summer season. The name of it has escaped me. Too small to recognize as anything important to the show.

Perhaps the thought was the show works better on the Cinderella Castle, where people are gathered for the fireworks show anyway, than back on the small world mall.
Originally Posted By FerretAfros It seems that the show was always more successful in WDW. It should be noted that the new show for WDW won't include photos of guests. I suspect that this is because it was never that successful, since they were relatively small and moved quickly, and to make it easier (aka cheaper) to run the show each night without having to sift through all the PhotoPass pictures from that day. With the new show, they can just show up and push the "go" button (that's an oversimplification, but you get the idea)

The projection boxes for that one were pretty large, so it was easy to see the "Christmas cards" that guests had submitted that day. I actually have a photo of the card I drew as part of the show.
