It doesn't mean you have to abandon Mitt or the Republican party's program in general, but when specific things happen, it's nice when people simply not defend that junk. The core of Romney's problem is unlikeability, and he is unlikeable not because of his religion, but because he seems willing to waffle on any previously held position if it'll get applause in front of whatever current audience he's addressing. It's about as heartfelt and genuine as "Hello, Cleveland!!!" at a rock concert.

Take the one about Obama supposedly eliminating the work requirement for welfare. Obama basically tweaked the program at the request of several governors, including Republicans, so that needed changes could be made at the state level to tailor the welfare program to be more effective. Don't believe me? Read about it on the Washington Post, PolitiFact, and FactCheck.org: http://www.washingtonpost.com/...log.html http://www.politifact.com/trut...s-tenet/ http://www.factcheck.org/2012/...-reform/ >> Five different ads running in swing states, promoting this blatant lie. Romney supporters who claim to be ethical and moral should be ashamed of themselves.
