So I have taken some trips alone, and will continue to do so.
I have adapted quite well, and dont dwell on BEING ALONE. Besides, no one there gives a hoot anyway.
Have you ever gone with people who whine and gripe, and arent into it? In those cases I would rather be alone.
Disneyland is best when you are with people who are as fired up about the place as you are, but if that aint possible, me, myself and I arent a bad combination!

If that includes airfare I'm THERE!!

I have tons of Disney spirit and generally get along well with others. I dress neatly, shower daily and use deodorant. I would be a perfectly acceptable Disneyland friend.

And on top of that, it appeared that few of the CM really even spoke English. They were all really friendly and did anything they could to try and communicate, but it was just strange being so alone. However, it was great to be alone. I got to go where I wanted when I wanted to. I could just stroll around and take in the scenery whenever. My favorite part was being able to take all the pictures of random stuff without getting funny looks from people in my group. And being in Japan, everybody else was taking pictures of the same random stuff too. It was great, and I would totally recomend going solo if you've never done it.

No restaurant issues for me; I have no problem eating where I want on my own. Actually, I expect it to be easier in some cases - if there's a long line for tables and only one seat left at the restaurant bar and they serve food there... guess what! I'm takin' that seat! :)

I'll miss Mr. Alice because we always have such a fun time together (the fireworks and sleepy-time will be the hardest parts), but since I've never done this before, I'm really looking forward to the experience.

    Go for it, SB82!

I have FABULOUS news! I was all geared up to just go by myself and I made one final offer to my younger bro. I asked him if he would want to go if I paid for his ticket as an early b-day gift (he turns 21 next month). He said yes!!!! Actually he's pretty cool and didn't want me to pay and said he would but I was cool with it. I offered, after all. He's just paying for parking, his food, and anything he buys. AND...he hasn't been in about 9 years! He has so much cool stuff to see! He's never been on Buzz or Pooh (I know, I know. But still new to him) or seen ANY of the changes around there. Should be fun! We're going on the 22nd!

I had my first and only trip (so far) last September and I am STILL craving the place. It has become quite an obsession.

But her one trip is plenty for them. They haven't gone in about 9 years. I can't immagine not going for a year..
So i totally understand. But on the up side, my mom and my sister are no ap holders and we go together all the time.
So i have them for my disney, fix.

Not at all. Turn it around and proudly say "yep, party of one - and a hell of a party is is, too!"

I travel solo all the time, and I really love the freedom. You can have a plan of action, but then on a whim just throw it all out the window and go with the flow. No one to consult, no grumps with flagging energy, no discussions of what to do next. Solo's the way to go!
