Unless there is a race the 780 to 80 to 37 to 101 is a beautiful drive (once you get onto 37 out of vallejo)...You will also find some restaurants (black angus, applebees, olive garden, lions, etc)as you take the 80 to 37 interchange (on the right you would exit instead of going onto 37) there are also some other restaurants on the 37 as you go through vallejo...It's beautiful country out that way.

Originally Posted By Stacers76 Sheesh you guys always make me hungry Just a note on the 580/101 construction...it's not SO bad on Saturday/Sundays once you get across the San Rafael bridge it backs up in San Rafael where there's an onramp (Andersen Dr, where I get on the 101 from work every day!) where 580 merges onto 101, but it's not bad....maybe 4-5 minutes, just looks worse than it is. Also if you're going up 101 thru Santa Rosa, there's big time highway widening going on and that can take a good 15-30 min to get thru from the south to north end of Santa Rosa. Have fun!! And wave as you go past San Rafael between the bridge and the construction, you can see where I work from the freeway )
