So the people vote the politician in and then the politican has to make good on his promise so he gets the Federal Government to conficate your property ( ie income ) at gun point and then hands that money over to his "constituents". Its the "ol" take money from the people not likely to vote for you and give that money to the people who are more likely to vote for you. Whats sad is that there are now more people in this country who vote for a living than voting to participate in government.
