Sorry for the typos.<<< No prob, I have my fair share... >>Now let's be honest, a Disney park goer may only hit more around 9 rides in a day, but the reality is that they're probably bypassing plenty of attractions that they simply have little or no interest in. For example, there's an article the OC Register about the massive crowds at DLR this week that has led to the closure of both DL and DCA today. The accompanying video shows DL bursting with people, but guess what? It also shows the Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-through, Lincoln, the Main Street Cinema, and Captain Eo as walk ons. More important than the number of attractions in a park is amount of things a guest is able to accomplish from the list of things that they wanted to do.<<< Good point... However, this just makes me think that Disney should build more E Tics. ;-) Have more headliners that people want to hit.

Been there done that attractions, as I like to call them. The more of those a park has, the more crowded everything is going to be. I say rip em out and put in something good! They could put Lincoln somewhere else, for historical value, maybe in a hotel, as an added bonus there, but it's not really Disneyland material.

LOL. Those would probably be among my favorite attractions there. Loved EO when I saw him in EPCOT again, last week. Gooooooood memories of 1993.

To me Gt Moments is far more Disneyland then any of the mountain range. Disney used to be about edutainment, and most people don't seem to care anymore. Yet in Europa Park, they just opened a new exibit on alternative energy and I cannot wait to see it next year.
Originally Posted By Mr X ***I'd rather see Capt Eo..than ride..Space Mountain*** Oh, man...Eo was fun for nostalgia when we went last week (and yeah, the chairs in Tokyo groove too, made me nauseous!), but it doesn't compare to Space Mountain and really never did. And what's "edutaining" about that anyway? Personally, I was cool with in in Epcot as part of the IMAGINATION pavilion, but never cared for it, or Star Tours, or Buzz or Stitch or Honey I Shrunk in TOMORROWLAND. Blech. Space Mountain is actually ABOUT the world of tomorrow, at least, and not some sci-fi garbage or a force fed product placement!

Rode on my past trip for the first time in 5 years... ...just as bad as I remembered it, and that's post refurb. Still painful, effect-less, and now there is music blaring in your ear. Woo. Call me when it's a actual ride in the 21st century, WDW.
