Yes, we were attacked. Yes, it was bad. One single planned attack is no reason to change the way we go about policing the world. Like it or not, this is a police action. Not a declared "War". "The War on Terror" is a marketing ploy, not a definition. And I love how they imply that by restoring Habeas Corpus and having people like Osama bin Laden tried in court to face his crimes, that he will somehow be let free.

Ask yourself why only 20 percent of the resources are actually being devoted to the "war on terror", the actual hunting down and capturing of real terrorists in Afghanistan.

Our stature in the world has been diminished more than I ever thought possible. We all have to go through time consuming BS every time we get on a plane. It is almost impossible to imagine the billions and billions of dollars that the U.S. has spent in response to 9/11. We need to stop being so scared of a bunch of two-bit terrorists.

Originally Posted By dshyates "It's unbelievable that we're the one's who were attacked and yet we have to apologize. What's next the Jews saying their at fault for the Holocaust?" That is absolutely nonsensical. We don't have to apologize for being attacked. Logic obviously isn't your strong suit.
