Huge Stitch fan here. It's becoming a rather odd collection...

    >>>I'd say I have to agree on SGE .....it will be geared more towards family,<<<

My first memory of Walt Disney World was visiting with my mom, just after opening. If Stitch's Great Escape is one new attraction that little tykes can enjoy with Mom and/or Dad right by their side, so much the better... I don't like the "character invasion" of Tomrrowland, but attractions that keep families TOGETHER are, long-term, good for Disney parks. Good for making memories.

And if the tykes are scared just a "wee" bit, then it's healthy, because they know Mom and/or Dad are there to hold their hand and keep them safe, and that these dangers are not to be faced alone, but with those you love nearby.

    That's a great life lesson.

I love the fella. My Gomes tiles of him are my favourite purchase this year.

I wonder why the evil Event Services cronies didn't get their hands on the opening and create a pin event for it with another hundred million Stitch pins that won't sell (a la the ridiculous number of Stitch pins for the ToT event at DCA that are still on the racks in the attraction store).

Attractions like Space Mountain or even the Haunted Mansion won't be build at the MK again because of this strategy. Yet these attractions are both still family rides, but with a little edge. I guess Stich (which I also love) will also have a little bit of the edge left from AE.

The guests were still in line and the show going until after I left the building about 40 minutes later after I went in. So for those of you going to the MK before Nov. 16th...there is hope you will see it!!! Just check periodically during your day at the MK.
I posted my opinion next door to this topic as well.

    Good luck, and happy Stitching.
