And... many many thanks to Fab and Kevin Rafferty for the interview. These Imagineers work REALLY hard and I truly appreciate the enjoyment I get out of their hard work.

Fab, the pictures are gorgeous. This is the most excited I've ever been about a new attraction. I think Pooh (not Poop =P) will tie in very nicely with the Critter Country theme. A little splash (no pun intended) of color here and there will be enjoyed by many I'm sure. It's going to be nice for the larger families who have to split up because young ones are too small or scared to ride Splash. Now there is something else in the same area for them to enjoy. I know I'll enjoy it!

I like names that read the same forwards as backwards! Poop it is!

If it were up to me, I might have suggested the Big Thunder Ranch area since that would have been kind of a nice transition between Fantasyland and Frontierland, but then again, I'm hoping they use that area to finally build the Western River ride (I know, but I can dream).

If it had been there all along, no one would question the location really. It's new, it's different, and change scares some folks.

Hey, at least they're adding a ride -- and a dark ride at that! Hooray!

As Futurist said, it looks like a good C-ticket or D-ticket level attraction. And with all the Pooh merchandise they'll no-doubt sell, they can fix up Tomorrowland at long last. (Dreaming again, sorry.)

BUT, everyone seems to overlook the fact about FFF in DCA completely and exactly how does cartoony bugs fit ANYWHERE in a reality-based California theme park is beyound me?

But, I guess we all have our different priorities :).

I'll never forget... I was in Junior High 7 or 8th grade .. and some community center facility had some people from Disney .. and an imagineer with a "Pooh" model on a small table to show off.

    This around 1978-79

That's how long (at least) it's been on their shelves.

Maybe there's hope for a few other good ones for the future (WRE????)

No, but some have suggested that it was made to increase merchandise sales. Pooh, after all, is Disney's biggest selling brand.

I'm so sorry to insult some of you, but insulting Pooh because he's in a forrest themed area when there's a cartoonish themed Log ride right next door is just so strange that it actually makes my head hurt. Pooh fits Critter Country's theme perfectly. And besides Critter Country was themed to the cartoon critters of Disney. I think some of you are confusing Critter Country with Frontierland. I know most of you are desperately eager to bash Disney for some odd reason, but I'm going to lay it out. Leave the Bear Alone! Disney trying to make guests like all you and familys to have fun and this is the thanks they get!? I'm totally excited about Disney's new dark ride, no matter what anyone thinks.

I think they do have it confused with Frontierland, but even so, what did Davy Crockett kill him when he wuz only 3? Hmmm....

I think Pooh fits perfectly in CC, on the reverse side, I think Pooh in Fantasyland at the MK looks out of place. LOVE the ride tho. Of course, I'm partial to one of the characters. :)

It had just opened when we were there and I actually thought it was wrong for them to put it in Fantasyland, It just didn't suit the where it was.The cue was very borring.Critter Country is a much better spot for him-besides what else would they have put in the old bear house???Just for the record I also liked the bear playhouse, especially the mousse on the wall!!
