You'd be surprised how good you can feel doing the right thing when there are seemingly no adverse consequences to be borne.

These small amounts of money are for the taking, you find a 20 spot on the ground, take and enjoy it. If you don't it will be the next guy buying ice cream for the kids, so why not you?

All money retrieved from fountains, wells, etc. (even Jungle Cruise and ROA, when drained) is given to charity. Suggestion: rather than figure that the "next guy" might get it, so why not you? (applies to syphilis also, BTW), why not put lost and found coins into a wishing well? Seems like a compromise that is more likely to improve the world (charitable giving, you build character) than make it a bit more greedy and competitive. Just a suggestion, by the way. I do appreciate the reminder to take extra care of my valuables when I'm at Disneyland, however. That "next guy" could be anyone.

I did the right thing by returning the purse. As for my two-part $11 windfall, it's spent, thank you. My friend, you have taken this topic so far off the subject that there's no sense in even trying to continue it.
