This with still 99% in, although the vote totals have changed since the last time it was 99%.

The Dems have won the House but probably will fall a couple short in the Senate. They've won a majority of the governors' seats. The country has told Bush that stay the course, or whatever he wants to call it, is kaput. The Santorums of the world have been on notice, no more mixing church with state. Some sanity has been restored. Now let's see if they know what to do with it.

    Talent
    (Incumbent)
    799,007 48%

    And in Montana:
    Tester (D)
    88,302 53% 40% of precincts
    Burns (R)
    (Incumbent)
    75,256 45%

Virgina is just too close to call. Webb still leads, but by 2700 or so votes. If this all hold, the Dems take the Senate too. That's a big if.

Too bad, then. He may well go down, but in a squeaker. Bear in mind all it does is tell you what we already know about voters in Virginia.
