I see a lot of talent, but a lack of teamwork and NHL honed experience. There is a lot of talk of Joe Sakic retiring. He's 39 years old, but I can't see him leaving when his experience is so badly needed to train the new guys. And I would hate to see last nights game to be the final career game of such a great player. The Avs will be stronger next year. But from what I'm seeing, year after next will be fantastic. It took the Pens about 3 years to get where they are after they got the new breed including Sid the Kid. The Avs Stasney is close but we will have to see how he develops.
