Principal photography began last September so shooting would have finished before the end of the year. Without VFX etc. I guess the editing would have taken no time at all either. Even so studios usually wait to get the rating so maybe they are planning some screenings.

Given the complicated mess her father was in real life, Colin Farrell is a good choice. And Rachel Griffiths is playing the real Mary Poppins! (Loved her in Muriel's Wedding and Brothers & Sisters.) Inspired casting for most everyone, though I'm still having doubts about Hanks as Walt.

Have there ever been any actors who could truly capture and transcend Walt Disney, hypothetically? No? I didn't think so.

Needless to say, they signed my book. Richard Sherman shows up at every Disney event in Southern California without fail. Go to one and you can meet him. (Margaret Kerry too!)

Of course, that'll also be the day that they announce that ALL the dolls are being replaced with Disney characters. Just a minor change, though. The message will still shine through. And you'll love the Mary Blair-esque version of Kira from Atlantis.
