Off the top of my head, I don't see how this is protected income. If it is, I think Fred Goldman would be all over our TV screens screaming his head off. I could be wrong, but in this case, I hope not.

What does this do to OJs kids...who certainly can read?

What happened to his daughter is horrific, and he was thrust into the national spotlight though no actions of his own. But once he got there, he liked it, and has now made a career out of his family's tragedy. Thank you, brown family, for taking the high road. They show true class and restraint.

Originally Posted By DAR <<Or if he makes a mint, I hope it all gets taken and pays the debt he owes...>> Wishful thinking. Where is the outrage from any of the main three talking heads on Fox, Hannity, O'Reilly, Colmes? Also does anyone recall OJ doing an interview for a British tv show we're he pretended to stab the host with a bannana? I remember seeing a little blurb about that a few years ago.
Originally Posted By SingleParkPassholder "Thank you, brown family, for taking the high road. They show true class and restraint." Wellllll, not so fast there, Bunky. They've been relatively quiet the last few years, but class and restraint are not words I'd use to describe them. Of course, no one would wish on anyone the type of loss they suffered, but suffice to say they were no angels prior to the murders and definitely not afterwards, in more than a few respects.
Originally Posted By DlandDug >>Where is the outrage from any of the main three talking heads on Fox, Hannity, O'Reilly, Colmes?<< Haven't seen any reaction from this group yet, but the news people on our local Fox owned-and-operated as well as the Fox News network have been universal (so far) in their condemnation. (Shepherd Smith was apoplectic.) Is it possible that Murdoch has finally found something that embarrasses even that bunch?
Originally Posted By TALL Disney Guy <I understand that they've been victimized too, and have every reason for their anger. I know that I have very little patience and a short temper and if I were a family member, I'd sure as hell wanna make a fuss over personal tragedy and gross injustice. The logic behind this type of reaction IMO is the more you make awareness of how your family was wronged, the more likely something is to change for the better in the case. <Marc Klass was thrust into the national spotlight though no actions of his own. But once he got there, he liked it, and has now made a career out of his family's tragedy.> How do you mean he "liked it" and "made a career" out of it? This goes with what I said above, I imagine that's probably how the man handles his anger, by speaking out of his tragedy to anyone who will listen (though I'm not as sure on the details of this one).

Marc was all over the tube and his entire countenance was of "we're gonna get this guy" even though it was apparent that nobody had anything on him. With fred goldberg, I'm still at the eye-rolling stage. Whenever I see him on tv, I can't help but think that he needs to step back and not be quite the "go-to" media figure he's become. Since justice has been denied, all he can talk about any more is money, and how he wants more. It's not serving the best interest's of his slain son.

I'd say maybe counseling would help, but surely the victims' families in this case have had that (or so you'd think).
