I don't go to Disney to sit in a room, I'm at the parks from open to close and if I am at a hotel I sure as heck ain't sitting inside. All ya need is a king size bed and your all set. Plus I like having an experience where I leave my world behind, I like to feel I'm off in my own little world and vacation, and not driving makes me feel that Disney World is a World all by itself, plus if we drink somewhere we don't have to worry about driving. ANyhow PC is just fine and ya don't have to fight traffic from an offsight hotel to save very little cash, and you get the bonus of being ensconsed in everything Mickey all the time.
