They really need to get rid of the Festival Arena/Big Thunder Ranch area and put in a new E ticket.

I also hate that the top of the theater is visible from Main Street. The row of trees they planted to block it ruins the scale of the Castle making the towers appear more diminutive.

You know what? I'm going to fly to DLR and pay a visit to City Hall AND write a nasty letter to Guest Relations.

I'm not a big fan of the shows that would be going on at the theater. I know that new Mickey Magical Map is starting. I have a hard time believing it's going to be anything other than corny and silly. And the space could be used for much bigger and better purposes.

Shows are usually borderline okay the first time around, and then you never feel like you ever need to return to see it again. At least that's how I feel about most shows.

From what I've seen, it looked like it would be mostly spinners and flatrides, which are pretty compact. I believe the proposed Dumbo's Circus Land design was in the 70's, so they would have been able to squeeze things into smaller space, without the need for modern accessibility codes and such.

A circus-themed area is one of those things that WDI has wanted for years and years and years. Hopefully now that the Storybook Circus area has opened up in WDW, they feel like they've finally fulfilled that dream and don't need to do it again. But knowing how they operate these days, it will probably be coming soon to a theme park near you
