I'm not much of a fan of Kitsis/Horowitz this go round. They had a solid mini-series for one season last year. I'm thinking they didn't have a game plan for season two, and have been trapped by their own success.

Unless something shakes loose by the holiday break, I don't think they'll be back for season three.

It's almost as if it's a different show. It feels as though it's done by a different production team who took over during hiatus and are trying their best to work with the post-curse worlds and fairy tale characters woefully out of place in Storybrooke.

Sorry, but the whole thing with teaching Henry how to sword fight was the pending omen of doom. The whole fish-out-of-water theme, for this show, just doesn't work for me.

What was in August's box that he showed what's-his-name? Wasn't it just a typewriter? I'm not sure I understand how that convinced him that August was telling the truth...

And I guess we established who the guy was in the season opener who got the postcard: Henry's dad. And the postcard was sent by August (who I don't think we've seen since the curse was lifted, so I don't know if he survived being turned into wood or now)

Is anyone still watching this? I am, but most of the time I'm not sure why.

Going back to the fairy tale world? Just continuing on? I guess the guy from the car wreck will figure in somehow (my guess is magic does work outside of Storybrooke). The show is still interesting, but far less compelling than it was originally

And will we ever see Mulan and Aurora again?

And for something a little less heavy, in the flashback to Mary Margaret giving the book to Henry, he had a Tron lunchbox, which seemed like a fun little nod

Loved the ending last night, and loved Regina's choice. The next villain to come? Jury is out, hope they do her justice.
My fondest hope is that the show's creators would ditch Alice and concentrate on making Once consistently good, but alas, that would take alot of pixie dust....

That said--I will be watching in March, so what do I know?!?!

I agree. I really liked seeing how the original characters all interacted with each other, even though they were from different stories; it seemed like a lot of Peter Pan stuff that was isolated all by itself which was less fun. Plus, they were just wandering around in the woods for way too long, even if they were doing mildly-interesting things; it just felt like a whole lot of nothing

The next big villain appears to be one of the witches from Oz (can't tell if it's east or west), so I hope that they don't follow the same single-story-in-isolation route. I also enjoyed the series more when it was about managing life with the villains than outright defeating them. Oz doesn't seem like a natural fit to me, so it will be interesting to see how it pans out.

On a related note, I guess the isolated part of the enchanted forest where Aurora and Mulan were isn't Neverland like a lot of people originally guessed

    >>And I just don't believe that Mr Gold is dead.<<

I agree. There's got to be some rule that "the dark one" can't kill himself. The evil power has to go somewhere, it can't just go away. Also, if they were truly dead I think they would have left their bodies behind rather than disappearing. I think his dad is dead, but I'd be surprised if we don't see Mr Gold again

As for Rumpul he's hiding with in the curse like he did before to keep all his memories. Don't forget it's his curse so he knows how to work it.
