The odds are close to even in craps (unless you play the sucker bets), so at some point you're probably going to be up. That's when to walk. Go get a drink, chill, walk around, then go to another table and do the same thing.

Mind you, I violate that rule all the time. A convivial table, friendly dealers, the idea that the dice will STAY hot... all conspire to make me violate that rule. But when I stick to it, I usually win.

(By the way, Beau, I finally posted my trip reports in that section, though there's not too much about Vegas in there).

    LOL

Good job Joe, you are where the money is at.

PS.. I am playing in an on line tournament right now... I'm 5 hrs into it.

We started with 1459 players and are down to the last 175 of us.

    Buy in -- $ 400

    First place is 114k!!!!!!!

You need to get to 110 place to get $600 back. After that the prize money goes up.

I check, he bets, I for some reason went all in and he called so fast the CPU almost blew up. I knew I was dead.

He had QK and it was over. If I fold when he bets I would have made another $250 by just sitting there another few minutes.

First really bad read in 7 hrs. But that's no limit hold em.

Screw this political talk... I'm starting a gaming section. :)
