The most important element is the stand-by queue. Without it, the ride would be mush. Reason why I would like FP to be elinimated here. The trains load fast and that would make the line move rather well and expeditiously throughout. Same for R&RC... FP is not needed there either.

It's the same as with Indy in DL - the queue is so totally integral to setting up the feel of the ride. Just zipping in without looking at anything kinda kills it. There are times when I have a FP but I'll do the standby line anyway, just to enjoy this magnificent queue.
