And I'm not too big on thrills. ...FJ's range of motion and "thrill" was AMAZING, and easily do-able for a n00b like me.

Originally Posted By Bolna Sounds like a great event for any fan and I think it is very good that Universal does such things. However, I am not so sure that it is such a wonderful deal. The price quoted is per adult based on double occupancy in the room. And there also will only be one blueray set per booking, not one per person. So for two people we are looking at at least $738 for four nights in a Universal Partner hotel, whichever that might be. I actually checked out the normal Harry Potter package on the Universal website. The cheapest one there for two adults which includes 4 nights, three day tickets, City Walk Party Pass, early entry to WWOHP, breakfast at the Three Broomsticks at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is $$529.82. So the blueray set, the commemorative pin and the one entrance to the Q&A session for each person could cost up to nearly $210. I am sure they will sell out and it is a cool event, but it may very well not be such a fantastic deal as it looks like at first.

I tried to watch about 30 minutes of one of the movies once, and I just got bored and wandered away. I am planning a trip to Scotland this fall, and I had to roll my eyes recently at a description of one particular train trip and its headliner mention of the fact the train travels over a trestle used in the Potter movies. As if the stunning Scottish scenery and gorgeous stone trestle itself wasn't enough for modern consumers? Whatever. I would like to go on this Potter ride next time I'm in Orlando though. It sounds interesting the way they've got the tech to work, and the elaborate themeing around the ride.
