He's also staring in the latest Planet of the Apes flick opening this Friday. I don't think he's a terrible actor, and I believe he comes off as "worsening" simply because Malfoy's role diminished so much. The film version of HBP shortened Malfoy's involvement greatly. An actor can only elevate a role so much. If Tom had more to work with, he might have given a better performance.
