I knew it was Walt's birthday tomorrow. Its also opening day for the POTC II DVD!!! Looks like more shopping!

I'm absolutely guanateed that you're all cursing my service dog and me out every time I'm in the parks. Y'all need to take a step back and breathe a bit. If you see a normal-sized 50-something blonde lady with a hairy black service dog, come say hi, but don't stand too close or I just might run over your feet on purpose, lol ;-) I think that everyone who enters the parks with a ECV, wheelchair or needs handicapped seating should get a set of rules and regulations when they enter the gates. There should be a designated area to park you cart (if you can walk the distance to regular viewing), or an area for occupied cart seating. You need to be there EARLY, BEFORE most of the crowds arrive. If you're not, then you should "move on" to the second tier of handicapped viewing. If you need/want the privilege, then I feel that people should put out the effort to stay out of the way and let the crowds have access to the show. Same thing for strollers.

Cars in the handicapped parking areas have to have a sticker from a medical professional. Not so for these motorized chairs.

Have CM's available with flashlights made to look like candy canes to direct people to go the right way and prevent people from going backwards against the flow and alleviate areas from backing up and becoming congested.

On the other hand, the dancing lights were less than impressive. For the opening, we stood at the intersection with San Francisco street, and the lights did NOT seem coordinated enough with the music to seem as one. We moved to the end of the street for a second showing, and didn't even bother staying for the whole thing - left in the middle. I personally thing the EPCOT dancing lights have it all over the MGM ones.

I just don't understand the reason for doing it many other places, but not here. Does this mean that maybe this year they will be saving money by not doing any crowd control at all for New Years at Epcot? Whoa.

Personally I would have all those employees in custodial and crowd control where they can do much benefit to the operation and pull the plug on FP.

However, if they pulled FP, or at least the people from it, I'm wondering what the chances would be of them being redeployed into those other areas?

Maybe entry level people at Disney should start kissing company back so they can move up the rank.
