Assuming you are going to be doing mostly Disney (and why do anything else?) the convenience and ease are well worth any (if any) extra money you will spend. It's soooooooooo easy to get around, you will never drive and park again. It ends up being so much more relaxing and the ease with which you can go from one place to another is unbelievable. Add the ability to return (easily) to your room in the middle of the day for a swim or nap and you've got it all. Stay onsite.

Its closed/chnaged ownership now but we won't be using them anymore thankfully. Really though it was a very clean, well managed, friendly cheqp place to stay right near the back road entrance into WDW near AK.

    You should look for Condos or Timeshares. VillaDirect's web-site has condo's in the range you are looking at in October and a Condo would give you much more room than a suite.

    I actually stayed there one night a couple years ago via priceline. Paid $24 and was VERY pleased with that as a place to crash the nigth before moving onsite.

    DL, finally checked trip advisor for "our" Rodeway. It has mostly average and better reviews. It should work for us, we don't spend a lot of time in our room and since we are driving, we'll have our car. Just trying ot save money so we can go a couple more time this year and make good use of our new AP's!! If you hear anything else about that hotel, let me know.
