Yes, and he brought it into the room and held the dripping thing over me to wake me up. Then he released it back into the Lagoon.

Why did Carolina Dad think we're from the South? Husband has lived his entire life in Massachusetts.

Usually you can see the Earfille (sp?) Tower without going out of your way (while driving through Disney World).

At Animal Kingdom, if you look closely you can see where Beastly Kingdom would be and some signs that they were so close to making it. For example, the monster-looking rock waterfall.

The prettiest view for me is on the WEDway at night, there are a couple beautiful shots of the Castle in lights. It must be unbearable gorgeous now with the ice lights on it.

My son was on Splash during the fireworks, he said the sight was fantastic, for a split second.

Never stayed at lake lure but we have driven through. That road is like a real version of test track. What a beautiful area. We have lived in the piedmont now for 18 years but I still consider myself a mountain person, still love cold weather, still miss the slower pace. We just got back today from visiting my parents where we went horseback riding to a high point near their house. We could see for miles. There was no haze. It was clear as a bell. There is nothing like a mountain view. Disney mountains included!

That reminds me of my youth. Some of my happiest memories come from getting up Saturday morning grabbing my cane pole, and meeting up with my cousins. We would dig up worms, and catch grasshoppers. Then head down the road on foot. We would walk from one relatives place to the next fishing their stock tanks. That evening we would have a fish fry. Man that was good eating with all those fresh grown vegetables, and sweet cornbread. Great days, I wish I could find them again.

Within an hour of the house I grew up in are Lake James, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Linville Gorge, Mount Mitchell And 3 ski resorts. It was a great place to grow up. I wish I was a better writer like some of you guys on LP so I could give you a better picture of it. BTW I've never been to Texas but I've always wanted to see it. I think there would be alot of things I would like about it.

The small rural communities can be quaint, but the big cities or just like big cities everywhere.

However, the very best Chilli I have ever had is in Texas. And Texans sure know how to BBQ!
