Most times I just rub my belly a bit he moves and everything's o.k.

mickeymeg, my little guy is still only noticeably active during specific hours of the day. He is most active at 11a, again around 6p and again around 11p. But the rest of the day I don't notice much motion. He seems to get hiccups each night around 9p, too, which is funny.

We have an appt next week to meet a pediatrician. This isn't a necessity but was recommended to us. I'm now on the see the O.B. every two weeks schedule and will probably have another ultrasound in mid January. They haven't carved that in stone but it seems like they would like to have one more as we get closer to our delivery date (2/17).

I think Doobie is surprised and perhaps even a bit disappointed that he hasn't been sent on any late night runs for some odd food combinations. I think he'd tell you that he's had it pretty easy so far with this pregnancy which is not what he (or I) expected. We both anticipated this process taking a much bigger toll on me physically (weight gain hasn't been as taxing on my clubfoot as I'd expected, but wonder how much more weight gain it can take) and we expected a roller coaster of hormonally driven emotional bursts -- but neither materialized thankfully.

BTW, through Netflix we rented a really interesting dvd "The Baby Human" I think its a collection of shows from TLC or Discovery Channel. It was fun to see babies at various developmental stages. And all the recent stuff we'd be hearing about baby was purely labor and delivery so it was nice to be reminded of the fun that follows.

We got a car seat yesterday so now have all the major necessities and just have the smaller odds and ends to collect. I am seeing the doctor every week as of today.

Suddenly one month doesn't seem so long. The nerves are starting to set in about getting baby out !

I did not get strange cravings, they say that when you do it is because of something the baby or you are lacking. So you guys are good mommys and providing everything baby needs already!
