Yes-I had heard about O-it was all over the news, what I said was that if an effigy of O had been put up AND the news crews filming people LAUGHING (missed that part didcha?) and no outrage visible filmed-there would be a HUGE outrage whereas it was a woman "hung" and there was not. You also missed that Olbermann, on a national show, spoke against the incident, and no fan of Palin is he. Now, here's what you can do. Why? Because the Obama thing is a racial issue with a long history. Palin? She's just personally loathed by a lot of people. So I can see why some camera crews might chuckle, though I don't agree that it's okay in the first place. Prejudice versus personal dislike. Two different things. There have been lots of effigys of Bush and Cheney over the past 8 years too. And no, that's not "cool" either but you're really comparing apples and oranges on the outrage meter here.
