We are commute camping at the beach, (came home for clean clothes and showers)
The first night my youngest son and I ate from KOA store- potatoe chips, salami, cashews, apple juice, and roasted marshmallows. He was delighted. I was feeling a little to guilty- GFCF options can be limited if you don't plan ahead!

Much of the food she's had when we are travelling has fallen under that description. (How off-topic is this???? Let's change the title to "The social impact of special dietary needs.....)

We are a golfing family, and are so very blessed to belong to a golf club with a great restaurant. The chef there has made it his personal mission to learn how to cook gluten free for Anna- half the time I come home with some new recipe he's dreamed up! I used to scoff at people with food issues (thought they were just too high-maintenance for words!) but my great humbling came soon enough. It's amazing how loved you can feel when a complete stranger does an exemplary job cooking good food for your child. The kindness of strangers.....

We have never gone in at that time

They do not have trays in the lounge but will give you a box or bag if you ask. We usually bring the tray that is under the coffee maker with us if we are taking food back to the room.

Monday, Tues, and Wednesday the lounge wasn't busy at all. It picked up a bit on TH but not bad. Friday night and Sat am were BUSY!

    Hope this helps!
