I wonder what the deal is with the life preservers they've added recently. Is Disney anticipating that someone might jump in the lagoon? http://www.disneygeek.com/upda..._image=1 On a side note it's interesting to me that the trellises are still in place after mousemerf declared that they were being removed. Maybe they'll be taken out, but with the premier just a few weeks away management doesn't appear to be in much of a hurry to move them.

There are no life preservers along the riverbank or on the docks in Frontierland and New Orleans Square. This rule about life preservers seems to be applied rather inconsistently.

Jungle Cruise life preservers? Not that I can find. I have noticed a life preserver on the dock at StorybookLand though. Inconsistency seems to be the rule in Anaheim.

It appears to be a very spotty policy, if it is even a policy at all.

The rafts have some boxes on them that are full of life preservers. They're usually taken by the first people onboard, so they can sit or lean on them for the ride. I believe Storybookland also has PFDs under the seats, but I could be mistaken, since it's more of a hunch than anything else. There's a rack of life jackets for kids in the queue for the canoes, on the left side, just before the first bin of paddles on the right. As for the Jungle Cruise, I really have no idea what they have, but I would assume they're under the seats somewhere, though I don't remember seeing any spots on the benches that look like they could be removed.

If these things are supposed to be on all bodies of water, someone isn't reading the memos coming from TDA! ;-) A photo feature would be a fun thing to see done on this life preserver topic. Go for it!
