Recently Alain Littaye has problems in getting his facts straight. His articles about DLP are getting worse too. Nevertheless I wanted to post the article because of the renderings.

My first thought when I saw some of those images was that they looked just like The Grove<< Yep! The same "Grove" which Al Lutz described as being "More Disney Than Disney" in this archived article from mouseplanet.com, posted almost 12 years ago: http://www.mouseplanet.com/beyond/bd020425.htm The "hotlink" feature doesn't seem to be working, but the article is kind of old. I tried copying and pasting the link, and it worked. The Grove to me does feel like a well designed Disney park, or one of the classier themed hotels in Vegas. This means the entrance to the Paramount park in Spain will evoke a part of Los Angeles, making it sort of like DCA 2.0 or DHS. It won't be the most exciting, thrilling thing ever built into a theme park, but neither is Main St. USA. Now if you want to see a park with an entryway that REALLY looks like a tacky mall, look for pictures of DCA 1.0.

Originally Posted By FerretAfros I assume that the electric lines will be rerouted, like they were at DCA. However it will be much more difficult to work around that tunnel portal; I'm not sure there's anything they can do to reroute that (and I suspect they'd have trouble putting large structures on top of the tunnel near the surface). I can't get a good sense of scale from the photo, but it seems like the site isn't big enough to have the park only on one side of the road

The park will live and die on the public transport issue - the links into London aren't good enough. The three major parks around London (Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington) are all on the west side of London for transport links to the rest of the country. East of London is a far harder sell.

Paramount have a poor history of finding partners who can fund their projects and execute.
