The Six Flags Premium AP comes with free parking, and with the opening of Tatsu in a few months, it will more than pay for itself, the 4 front of the lane passes per visit is just a bonus, as was the coupon booklet of great stuff. The 20% off food and merchandise is also a very nice perk, and I will be adding to my T-Shirt collection on future visits.

At Universal Studios Hollywood, I have the Premium at $99 for a renewal. I go enough times to make the parking pass worth it. The front of the line tram tour pass is just a bonus.

Knott's Berry Farm, I have the Premium with parking, renewal is $145. This is an AP that Lisa has the a different version, she gets the Premium without parking, as I am usually driving, or she can use the free 3 hour parking if she wants to get a Silver Bullet, Ghostrider and Xcelerator fix.

At SeaWorld, I have the Platinum, which I pay about $9 a month on a payment plan. I have had it for a few years now, and they honor the old price, which is nice. Free parking and the free SkyTower rides are the main reasons for the Platinum. Lisa gets a FunCard for $53.

I have the basic Zoo membership at $86 for 15 months. That allows two folks into the park (dual) membership. The basic gives you a discount on parking at the Wild Animal Park (Zoo parking is free for all). The upgrading isn't worth it compared to the few times a year I go to the WAP.

As for my Disneyland AP, I have the premium so I don't have to worry about blockout dates and the parking. Many folks I know have decided to get the Deluxe with Parking instead, the few blockout dates don't bother them, and it is a $70 savings.

If I didn't take the park photos for MousePlanet and sometimes MiceAge, I would think about getting a Disneyland only AP if one was offered. I think if DCA was an $100 add-on, I would pass, and then on a rare occasion, go when there was a major new attraction opening. (Hopefully getting a CM to sign me in).

I don't have a LEGOLAND pass at present, once they open the new Pirates area, I think I will be on the lookout for a discount offer for a one day ticket.

If Lisa and I go up north sometime this summer, I might get the Paramount Pass, that would allow us to visit PGA on 2 days, and a day at Bonfante Gardens, which is cheaper that buying single day tickets. Plus our Six Flags SP's will get us into Marine World for a day.

On the surface, yes, but when you understand that Six Flags' new management must do something to get itself out of debt it makes perfect sense. They've been giving their parks away for years.

And thus, we have the reason why Six Flags has been in such financial trouble.

I'd be interested to see how DL's attendance would be without AP's as well. It's obviously an attendance driver for both parks.

Seeing how slow it has been for the past couple weeks (the slow, non blockout period), that seems like a great idea.
