But that doesn't mean filling the track with something is automatically a bad idea. I wouldn't, and haven't argued, the whole futuristic angle. I just think considering what the potential future plans are for DCA and DL, we are not going to see TL raized. So bringing the peoplemover back (maybe in conjunction with the Carousel building) would be a net positive.

It's like being upset if the Tahitian Terrace came back.

It does NOT have to be 100% exactly like the old one, nor do I believe that it needs to be another attempt at the Rocket Rods (RR). Perhaps somewhere in between. I always liked the concept of the propulsion system being a part of the track, not a part of the vehicle - this was one of the problems with the RR system. Since it's a very closed-loop system, if one vehicle breaks down - there is an instant traffic jam created, and the whole attraction is brought to a mighty halt. With a PM/TTA style of propulsion - even if one "motor" stopped running, an adjacent one would be enough to keep the system running. So: 1 - I think we NEED something on those tracks. 2 - It doesn't have to be a clone of either the PM or the RR. Some form of hybrid system (at an intermediate speed). 3 - We've seen time and time again that Tomorrowland becomes very dated very quickly if it tries to be based on Science. It's much better to make it a Science-Fiction-based land. That way it's timeless. Think Buck Rogers; Jules Verne; etc. And as an aside - definately move the Rocket Jets/Astro Orbiter back up to it's platform. It's an intrusion to the Central Plaza Area (I understand that they were actually trying to bring more kinetics to the entrance to TL - but it really doesn't belong there). Just my $0.02!
