Fortunately I had other family members with me. Needless to say I am returning without him this year with my daughter and my side of the family. At least he doesn't object to me going without him.

"How do you know if you haven't been there."

"I just know I'd hate it."

How very open minded of you...

In fact, I don't care if they NEVER go, but don't walk into my classroom and say "I Hate Disney...what's with all this Disney crap?"

"Well just be glad it's not your room, then. I like it, so that's what's up with all the Disney crap."

In other words "Bite me with relish."

I have a good friend who thinks my "obsession" (her quote) with DL isn't healthy and down right stupid. Of course I disagree, but have given up arguing.
So, my friend meets this really cool guy at a dance and falls instantly for him. She told me that they are on the page with environmental issues, share the same far left politics, both love to dance etc...She was bummed though because he was going on vacation the next day but they arranged to get together when he returned. She talked endlessly about him and how cool he was. Well...he gets back from vacation and shows up at her house wearing a t-shirt with Mickey on that says Disneyland. He'd been there for a week and had a great time. She was blown away. He told her that Disney was one of his other passions and would she like to go to DL with him someday soon? Well, you can only imagine the response he got. She called me up and said "Damn all of you Disney people!!!" I just laughed and told her to have him give ME a call! Made my day!

We have soooooooo much FUN it's UNREAL!~

Life's toooo short to not enjoy it!

I have no probs if people don't want to go to DL, everyone can spend there own money on what vacation they choose, however sometimes it gets on my nerves that certain friends of ours can go to the SAME beach every Christmas year after year and find that ok but we go back to DL three years in a row and they roll their eyes!
