Earlier this week I (with the help of some other dedicated Peoplemover fans) started a petition and website to see if we can't get Disneyland to bring back the Peoplemover. There have been persistent rumors for some time that it may be coming back so we're showing our support for the gone but not forgotten ride. Anyways - here are the links to the petition

    Waaaaaaaaa!

[Whether or not the PM is coming back seems to be a topic being worked on by WDI and TDA right now.]

Now, how do you know this? Please, show us ANY supporting evidence that this lie is true?

[Not that I need to explain, but since you are playing numbskull, I will for your behalf:]

Oh my. He really did explain. Something about pot, kettle, black...hmmmm......

[...and I am sure you will have some smart-a** answer for this post too.]

No. U r providing the comedy relief for all of us.

Honestly, OC. As a Walt Disney Company Stockholder, I am confident that Disney and Imagineers will utilize there money in a wiser, more exhilarating way vs going back to the future and building a ride that had it's time.

Whats next, OC...a petition for Pack Mules return?

Apparently your idea of a thorough conversation is to ignore the topis and make personal attack when you've been shown to be wrong. So this is where I bow out again. I'm not interested in a pointless discussion; I am here to have intelligent debate, which you are incapable of.

So, a simple slip of the fingers, or misusing a common word like "there" instead of "their". Which one seems more like a junior high poster?

mousefun, I meant my compliment that you seem very knowledgeable about Disney parks. But you smother yourself with your idiotic antagonistic postings, making it hard for anyone to interact with you. oc_dean is continuing an interesting thread, and I and I'm sure many others are interested in the discussion. The only one causing trouble, the only one who will be increasingly ignored, is you, mousefun.

    Very sad.

The Pack Mules were extremely expensive to maintain, and had a very low capacity. But they got you immersed in Frontierland like perhaps nothing else. (For better or worse, even the smell!). And it's too bad kids of today won't get to experience the feeling of riding on an actual animal like that through that scenery. The mules were an excellent attraction.

And I still think mousefun could simply be Themeparklover with a new name; if so (and the tone is soooo similar), he'll get himself booted eventually. Again.

Though this story revolves around monorails, it has it's commonalties with peoplemovers. Both being sleek mass transit systems. An interesting read.

It seems there is some resentment built into monorail and peoplemover systems ... as the article suggests.

However .... there is so little inspiration to go around ... that at this point ... It's becoming necessary to become inspired again, SOMEWHERE.
