Dean, find "Knott's Preserved" on Facebook and "like" it. They can probably answer your questions. I just heard a talk by Eric Lynxwiler, one of the authors of the book and he had some great info. One thing that I didn't know was, when Gypsy Camp was deemed a big failure and they were considering what to replace it with, they decided to go back to the heritage of the parks founders, so settled on the Roaring '20's theme. Sound familiar?!!!
