It was the shortest time I'd ever waited.

I'm generally pretty easy-going about lines, but I did feel the urge to snarl and bite at the person ahead of me in this line once. We were almost there after a tortured long wait with 2 preschoolers and suddenly the man in front of us waved in his group of about ten older kids/teens who had been going on other rides while he held their place in line. It is my favorite of the Fantasyland dark rides, so while DH refuses to do the wait, I take the kids and sacrifice the time to take it once each trip. I don't want them to change the ride exactly, but I always wonder if they could make a modification and use different vehicles that seat more people to move that line a little quicker.

HM - we've gotten in the short line before, and passed probably 100 people, maybe more, and kept being asked if we had fast passes. I don't think anyone had gotten in that line in quite awhile, but a bunch of people followed us. It felt weird doing it, but it was an open line. Pirates - We got in line at the hub the day it re-opened and I think we got through that line in 30 minutes, taking the right side, of course. The people ahead of us took the left, and were still standing down below when we were going in the door. We took the left side a slow day in Feb and that also took about 30 minutes

Of course the negative reaction you've gotten on this thread was to be expected. You're messing with the Holy Grail... something put in the park when Walt was here. Of course it never occurs to these folks that if Walt were alive he would probably be doing the same thing. He was certainly never shy about capitalizing on something the public seemed to like.

Make it E-Ticket status somewhere else and then change Peter Pan to a small darkride from another Disney classic - Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, maybe even Beauty and the Beast flying around the castle.

I hadn't been in a few years when we went last week -- it was a little confusing, we thought the empty linie on the right was the Fastpass line...
