Not to go off-topic, but I couldn't agree with you more on this Spirit. What a dissapointment the last 30 years of "space-travel" have been. NASA really screwed up by concentrating all their efforts on the shuttle and space station. We really should have been on Mars at least 20 years ago -- we haven't even been back to the moon yet. Sad.

Sorry, was watching the Science Channel last night and it made me very annoyed with NASA again...

    Pretty cool.

Such a tiny little insignificant thing, but isn't the attention to small detail what made Disney great. I love to take pictures of different things when I'm at WDW, this last trip trash cans were on my list. Yes I know I think it is some kind of fetish with me. As best I remember, I still haven't organized my 1500+ photos from last trip, there were only a couple of styled trash cans that lived up to the Disney image. One variety was in tomorrowland, and one at Epcot. Most were the kind you described. Try puting a silver trash can with a well engraved metal medalion on it next to a green can with a yellow Tree of Life painted on it. Which one do you think looks just like any old trash can. It's the small details that made people fall in love with Disney. It will be loss of this vision that will drive people else where.

agreed 100%. Disney has truly lost its magic and is desperate need of new management. in fact, to broaden the perspective a little bit, the whole world is corrupt. overpaid business heads, fraud, its all too much. she cant take much more of this captain.

a question directed mainly at spirit. How do you go about getting a management position at Disney, and what degrees do you need.

    Puts things in perspective, huh?>>

I will hold my opinion about Stich because I haven't experienced it yet. Who knows it might be good, after all I'm the guy who likes Hudson Hawk, so taste isn't exactly my forte.

As for the 3-D movies, again I haven't seen Mickey's Philarmagic, but It's Tought To Be A Bug, Honey I Shrunk the Audience and Muppet Vision 3D are some of the most films I've seen.

I agree - those are great films and a lot of fun. But it would be really nice to see just one AA-filled extravaganza built in a US park again. Is there really no one left at WDI who knows how to build a great AA attraction -- and can help push the idea through????

I'm afraid I already know the answer...

Yet another thing we have in common, oh wise one. I really enjoyed watching this last mission, with all the spacewalks and all. And I was in SoCal when the thing landed - I even heard the sonic boom! If I'd found out an hour earlier that they were diverting to Edwards, I was within range to go out and see it land myself, dangit! Next time . . .

    Sorry, OT over.

I certainly would not be against that idea.

must be some commonality here-- was outside like 2:15 AM to 'see' the shuttle go past the one night. All they had to do was tell us it was clear and we could see it..or at least it''s trail.

Also a geek for meteor showers -- they fascinate me
