DL is loaded with bugs and little critters. They do what they can to spray and treat areas, but it's a never ending battle. They do pretty darn well for the most part. Heck, I haven't seen them for a while, but if you ever sat on the porch area of the GHS, you could look down inbetween the planks and see little tiny mice scurring aorund for food. I'm sure many of us have seen them in the planters around the park as well. Some are so tiny and they are all very cute.

We are too dry. They like humid locales.<<< You need to go to Imperial County. One night, I walked by my mom's kitchen, and I heard a scraping. I thought it was a mouse in the kitchen. Turned out to be a roach, about 2-3 inches long, scraping some food that had not been cleaned up off the stove. I actually keep a pair of shoes in the hallway specifically for the purpose of killing roaches. The kids call them my "Cockroach killers"

Luckily, our complex keeps the bugs out by constantly spraying. I've only seen a few critters here and there, and usually only after I've been gone for vacation for a few days or more. I hate bugs.
