How funny! The mara is what made Eric decide never again to eat at the food court in a hotel! lol

Personally, btw, I actually liked POR's in Dec 2003 the best - not sure how diff menu is now, but back then I liked ti a lot.

POFQ scored points with us for having fresh begniets.

First, Disney did away with the DDE 20% discount at the Mara to discourage us locals from dining there (because it was so good).

Then, they started systematically making a unique, wonderful place into a typical burgers, fries, pizza and chicken fingers kinda place. Gone is the signature dish, the sugar cane durban chicken skewers. Not far behind was great smoked tomato bisque (the excuse was too many people thought they were ordering cafeteria style canned tomato soup). The salads also began losing ingredients.

I dine there far less than I did three years ago.
