I finally learned how to make a good glass of iced tea so I'm whipping up some different flavors for anyone who is interested

We are planning a trip to DLR in August for my 55th Just DH and I this time. We went a week or so ago with SIL, DD and grandson. That is a whole different vacation Sons both just phoned DH to see what he was doing this weekend. Oldest DD is not organizing a fathers day get together this year as they'll be gone and so celebrated in Disneyland. "Boys" and youngest DD are at a loss to think ahead to organize anything. Makes me laugh and I'm staying out of it I'm thinking it's time to stock up the cart for the weekend. It's getting later in the day so it's mai tai and sangria time

Originally Posted By amazedncal2 Hi rt! getting a new grandchild is a good reason to delay a DLR vacation I'm jealous! We seem to be holding firm at 1 grandchild. I hope you have a reason to visit, be it alone, in the meantime Anyone care for a movie this weekend? I'm not coming up with anything clever for Fathers Day weekend. "Little Mermaid" perhaps? Anything that can go along with our luau theme?

(from hogan's hero's) and the all time favorite of dlf8- kurt russell! yes! yes! let's watch that. i love the music at the end during the wedding!

I know our DIL and soon to be DIL hope to have babies in the next 2 years, probably like your DD in 2012 30 seems to be that magic age now a days. Last night 8 of us went to DH's favorite Chinese restaurant. It was really nice and I do believe that was his "fathers day" DD#2 and her boyfriend, DS#1 and his fiancee are still here. No one seems to be moving toward making the planned brunch so I guess I need to stir things up. In the meantime, the drink cart is open for whatever you fancy. Help yourselves!
