We laid pretty low for this trip as we didn't know if we were going to actually make it there and then we were feeling "puny" as my dad used to say. So anyone up for a movie tonight? Jingle all the Way? Home Alone?

In Summer it can get as high as 104 but usually hovers around 100 (except this Summer where we are getting around 80 every day). Our Spring usually hits around September - November but the pleasant temps usually only last a few weeks before Summer hits. Hope I haven't given you information overload

We got up early and took Christmas breakfast up to my Pop and Auntie and stayed till about 11-ish, then came home and opened our pressies and had a quiet Christmas with just us for the first time ever....until we got a phone call from my uncle at night telling us that neither he nor any of my Mums other siblings could be bothered visiting my Pop on Christmas Day. So now we feel bad for leaving him early and feel like we should have stayed all day which is complete rubbish cause out of his 6 kids and 8 grandkids surely someone else could make an effort as well. He only lives a couple of suburbs from us all not in Siberia!!!! Sorry just had to vent a bit
