Don't know if you remember but we were told 3 times last fall that "this is it" and we gathered the whole family to say good bye. She has congestive heart failure but since being put on "comfort care" with Hospice she is doing "better". Not getting better, her heart could fail at any time but she is in good spirits and is in a kind of denial that she is still dying. She wants to go to Cattlemens tonight (a steakhouse) which will be her first real outing since well, gosh, last Oct. Other than her kids houses and Dr's offices she has been home bound. There will be 9 of us, including her caregiver. If you would, please send special thoughts for her to make it through today, she'll be really pissed if she doesn't get her steak
