I did a search for online folks, saw him and shot him a note saying eh's easy on the eyes and asked him what type of chemistry he's studying. Lo and behold, we spoke on the phone the next day for about 5 hours, then our first date was the following day and lasted about 10 hours. It's been awesome all the way, though I must admit it's a bit weird to be dating a guy who's pushing 30 that still plays D&D & Magic... but if that's what I have to worry about, then WOO HOO! hehe As far as music, in the last 8 days I've seen Earth, Wind & Fire; Rush (with Matt); Peter Gabriel (with BFF John); and Explosions in the Sky (with Matt). What I find silly is that he apparently wants to just tell his friends we met at the place we met up for our first date... odd that he attachs a stigma to it, but oh, well... c'est la vie!

So much fun to see a 16yr. get so excited about seeing Mickey,,tigger and all the characters. She had a great time,think we have another Disney fan !! Left 5:00am fri to San Luis Obispo with DD and her family to get our grandson. He's been in ROTC camp for 2 weeks, had a bbq and next morning up at 5 again to to go to his pass and review and then on to his award program. A very proud moment ! This is his 3 yr. It's like boot camp, why a 15yr old would look forward to this kind of camp every year i'll never know !! Waiting to hear my daughter scream when she opens his dirty clothes bag !! He warned her that he couldn't even stand the stench !!!!!!!! LOL Got home late last night and just hanging out today, did go out to lunch for Fathers day but back home and relaxing !!

We went on a get away from it all vacation which was great! A week before we left we found out that our 14 year old beloved kitty had lung cancer. She had stopped eating and drinking and we had had her back and forth to the Vet trying to motivate her. She was hanging in there when we left but 2 days after we got back we knew it was "time" and the Vet and a nurse came to the house and we had her "put to sleep" near her favorite spot on the back lawn. It was actually very peaceful and sweet and she was so ready. I'm not distraught but after having one cat or another in the house for 30 years, the house seems weird and we do miss her. So I'm just sort of "off" lately. So........the coffee cart is up and ready......movie anyone? I haven't seen "Tangled" is it worth a view?
